How to copy a Discord user ID

Discord uses the user ID to tell accounts apart. It stays the same even when someone changes their username.

  1. 1

    Turn on Developer Mode

Open User Settings in Discord, select Advanced, and turn on Developer Mode.

  2. 2

    Copy the user ID

On desktop, right-click the user and choose Copy User ID. On mobile, open their profile, tap the three-dot menu, then tap Copy User ID.

  3. 3

    Paste it above

Paste the copied number into the lookup field and select Lookup.
